I recently had HomeSouth Inspections perform an inspection for a new home I am purchasing in Foley, AL. This is the 2nd time I've used Tommy or one of his associates to inspect a home for me and I couldn't be happier. The first time involved an existing home and their report steered me away from buying what most certainly would have been a moneypit. This most recent inspection was to verify the new home I am buying was structurally sound in the aftermath of Hurricane Sally. I highly recommend their services.

We requested an inspection prior to the purchase of our new home. This company comes highly recommended from our friend. They were there before i got to the house on the day of the inspection which was nice not having to wait. The two gentlemen were friendly, professional, courteous and thorough. They explained everything at the end of the inspection. For someone who has very little knowledge of what to look for, they explained it all so that i could understand. I highly recommend this company!

Tommy inspected a commercial building i purchased. He was thorough, efficient and honest. He saved me a lot of money because he found items that the seller had to fix prior to my purchase. Have been in the building for a while and everything has gone smooth. Tommy is the best and anybody is missing out by not using him.

Tommy did a great job for us and went above and beyond with inspecting the property. A professional report with pictures of all issues was available the same day which made it very easy to send over a punch list to the builder. This company also uses a drone to get a detail look of the entire roof and any questions we had were answered promptly. Highly recommend.

We are in the process of purchasing a condo in Orange Beach. We response from the office(Emily) to schedule our inspection was immediate, and we were able to do everything on line. Our inspector( Ryan) was great and was very patient to show us everything about the condo that we needed to address with the seller. He was very thorough and we got the inspection report on the same day as the inspection. If you need a home inspection, I can highly recommend HomeSouth Inspections. I could not be more pleased with the service I received from Home South Inspections. Mr. Van Pelt is very thorough compared to other home inspections we have had conducted. Mr. Van Pelt is also very personable and approachable, giving both my wife and I good understanding of his findings allowing us to make informed decisions on the purchase of the home.

We also scheduled Mr. Van Pelt for a follow-up inspection to ensure the repairs were complete and correct. Again he was very thorough and made the process painless for us as home buyers.

Fantastic service--the most thorough home inspection we've ever requested. Tom inspected our house one morning a few weeks ago and by late afternoon the same day had emailed us a 40+ page report with photos of each item. Lots of items had several photos with areas circled or arrows pointing out exactly what he noted. He made the extra effort to cover even areas that other inspectors had said weren't accessible. Home South very kindly handled a few changes to our appointment time because of renters in the house. Great experience!
